~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The connection Gail feels to others through drumming and rhythm is what sparks her passion. It is through this art form that she finds inspiration, having witnessed transformations both personally and in the lives of others. Gail works with people from all walks of life, guiding them to find their inner “voice” and giving them the tools and freedom to express themselves through music, regardless of their age, background or musical experience.
In a nonjudgmental environment, Gail facilitates community drumming/rhythm events; the events are open to all. In this setting of acceptance, participants are encouraged to explore and create music in the moment, tapping into their own power, creativity and joy.  She provides drums, and other percussion instruments such as shakers, tambourines and cowbells.
Gail has facilitated drumming and rhythm circles for events such as: Winter Solstice, Department of Fish and Game's Diversity month, Women's History month and Season of Peace. She has also facilitated numerous drumming and rhythm circles with children at risk, LGBT youth, and has had the privilege of facilitating at birthday celebrations and even a few joyous weddings.
An avid paddler, Gail enjoys spending time outdoors connecting with the amazing Alaskan Wilderness in many different ways.
Gail Jackson is a grounding spirit; helping people find peace, joy, harmony, laughter and oneness through drumming and rhythm is her passion. Gail is a Practitioner of Religious Science and a percussionist in the music department at the Alaska Center for Spiritual Living. She has an undergraduate degree in Counseling and Rehabilitation from Marshall University with a minor in criminal justice and sociology.  Gail has completed the six-day Hawaii Facilitators’ Playshop and the 10-day Hawaii Mentors’ Experience facilitator training through Village Music Circles. Gail continues to regularly engage in professional development. She is the Vice- President of Membership in the Drum Circle Facilitators’ Guild a national drum facilitator’s organization.
She continues to share her talents and enthusiasm,  spreading peace, joy, harmony and love, while building community through drumming and rhythm. She hopes you will join her soon!
